AidRx Privacy Policy
AidRx LLC (“AidRX”) operates the AidRx services (“Site” or “Services”) and is committed to the proper management of the personal information of all Users of the Services. The practices set out in this privacy policy seek to balance the individual’s right to privacy and AidRx’s need to collect, use, or disclose personal information during operations.
This page outlines the policies regarding collecting, using, and disclosing Patient Information. AidRX will not use or share Patient Information except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Patient Information is used for the operation and improvement of the Site. By using the Site, You consent to the collection and use of information under this policy. Key Definitions
User/Users (“You,” “Your”): Any person submitting Patient information to AidRx.
Patients: The subjects of the health information submitted to AidRx.
Collection of Information
While using the Site, AidRX may ask You to provide certain information to provide the Services described. This information includes
- Non-identifying Patient Health Information: AidRX may require gender, age, diagnostic, treatment, and care information (“Patient Information”). The following data elements are considered to be identifiers and must be stripped from the Input provided to convert it into non-identifying health information. By Inputting data on the Site, You must not include any of the following:
- Names (including initials).
- Any geographic subdivision smaller than a province or state, including street address, city, municipality, and postal code.
- Any significant dates unique to an individual, including date of birth, date of admission, discharge date, and date of death. The only exception is age or birth year, only at ages below 90. Above such, all elements must be aggregated into the single category of 90+.
- Telephone numbers.
- Fax numbers.
- Electronic mail addresses.
- Social insurance numbers.
- Medical record numbers.
- Personal health care numbers.
- Health plan beneficiary numbers.
- Account numbers.
- Certificate/license numbers.
- Vehicle identifiers and serial numbers, including license plate numbers.
- Device identifiers and serial numbers.
- Web universal resource locators (URLs).
- Internet protocol (IP) addresses.
- Biometric identifiers, including fingerprints and voice prints.
- Full-face photographic images and any comparable images.
- Patient Consent: If You Input any identifying Patient Health Information, You confirm that You have the informed and written consent of the Patient before submitting it on the Site.
- Account Information: When You create an account with AidRX, information associated with Your account will be collected, including Your name, contact information, account credentials, payment card information, and transaction history (collectively, “Account Information”).
- “User Information:” When You use the Services, User Information is collected that is included in the input, file uploads, or feedback that You provide to AidRX (“Content”). This may include Your name, location of Your practice, email address, telephone number, address, information about Your employment, the information provided to obtain investor-related notices, and any other information You provide to AidRx.
- Information: When You visit, use, or interact with the Services, the following information is received about Your visit, use, or interactions (“Technical Information”):
- Log Data: AidRX collects information Your browser sends whenever You visit the Site (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as Your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of the Site that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. Information about Internet Users’ traffic patterns is passively and automatically collected and linked to Users’ Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. These unique IP addresses are assigned to all Web Users by their ISPs and are automatically logged by Internet servers. While the IP address itself does not identify an individual, it may, in appropriate circumstances, such as an investigation of a security breach, be used with the cooperation of the ISP to locate and identify an individual using the website.
- Usage Data: AidRX may automatically collect information about Your use of the Services, such as the types of content that You view or engage with, the features You use and the actions You take, as well as Your time zone, country, the dates and times of access, User agent and version, type of computer or mobile device, and Your computer connection.
- Device Information: Includes name of the device, operating system, device identifiers, and browser You are using. Information collected may depend on your device type and its settings.
- Cookies: A “cookie” is a piece of information sent to Your browser by a website You visit. You can set Your browser to accept all cookies, to reject all cookies, or to notify You whenever a cookie is offered so that You can decide each time whether to accept it. - Analytics: AidRX may use a variety of online analytics products that use cookies to help AidRX analyze how Users use the Services to help enhance the user experience.
- Communication Information: If You communicate with AidRX, AidRX collects Your name, contact information, and any messages You send (“Communication Information”).
- Social Media Information: AidRX has pages on social media sites like LinkedIn. When You interact with AidRX’s social media pages, Personal Information is collected that You elect to provide AidRX, such as Your contact details (collectively, “Social Information”). In addition, the companies that host AidRX’s social media pages may provide AidRX with aggregate information and analytics about AidRX’s social media activity.
Use & Retention of Patient Information
AidRX will not use Patient health information for data matching or attempt to re-identify any de-identified information provided by Users. All Input data will be automatically deleted after a period of 30 days.
Use & Retention of User Information
AidRx will retain information, including personal information, for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected. For example, suppose You send AidRX personal information electronically to apply for employment with AidRx. In that case, Your personal information is retained for a reasonable period to permit future consideration for employment. AidRx may also be subject to legislative requirements regarding the retention of certain types of information.
The data collected by AidRx is used for system monitoring and improvement. The collected data will not be used for purposes outside of those explicitly stated in this policy.
Service Providers
AidRX may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the Site, provide the Site, perform Site-related tasks, or assist in analyzing how the Site is used.
These third parties have access to Your User Information only to perform these tasks on AidRX’s behalf and must not disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Security
The security of Your User Information is important to AidRX, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While AidRX strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your User Information, AidRX cannot guarantee its security.

The Site may contain links to other sites that AidRX does not operate. If You click on a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party’s site. AidRX strongly advises You to review every site’s privacy policy.
AidRX has no control over and assumes no responsibility for third-party sites or services' content, privacy policies or practices.
Children’s Privacy
The Site does not address anyone under 18 (“Children”). AidRX does not knowingly collect personally identifiable User information from children under 18. If You are a parent or guardian and know that Your child has provided AidRX with User Information, please contact AidRX. If AidRX discovers that a child under 18 has provided AidRX with User information, such information will be deleted from the servers immediately.
Compliance With Laws
AidRx complies with Canada’s Anti-Spam legislation and is committed to ensuring You do not receive unsolicited electronic messages. If You receive any messages from AidRx that may be considered spam or would like a copy of AidRx’s Anti-Spam Policy, please contact AidRx’s Privacy Officer at the address below. AidRX will disclose Your Personal Information where required by law or subpoena.
Your Rights
To the extent provided for by local law and subject to applicable exceptions, individuals may have the following privacy rights about their User Information:
- The right to know information about the processing of Your User Information, including the specific pieces of User Information that are collected from You;
- The right to request deletion of Your User Information;
- The right to correct Your User Information; and
- The right to be free from discrimination regarding exercising Your privacy rights.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
AidRX may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. AidRX will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when posted on this page.
